Our commitment
Thumber aims to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, EN 301 549 v3.2.1, the EU European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882, in force June 2025), the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508, the UK Equality Act 2010, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Accessible Canada Act, and POPIA + South African Disability Rights guidance.

- Captions on Thumber-produced videos; auto-captions on user uploads.
- Reduced-motion mode honoured via
prefers-reduced-motion. - Dynamic type / scalable text up to 200% without loss of content.
- Contrast targets WCAG 2.2 AA (4.5:1 text, 3:1 large text and UI).
- Alternative text for images and gift assets.
Known limitations
Some user-generated livestreams may not include captions in real time. Some legacy gift animations may not respect reduced-motion fully — we are tracking these.
